For questions or bug reports, please contact:

For bug reports, it helps to include your iPad model and iPadOS version, the app version (shown at the bottom of the app's Settings screen), the steps that led to the problem, and a screenshot if possible.

Frequently asked questions

I can't draw with my finger. Is Apple Pencil required?

Yes, drawing requires an Apple Pencil. Finger drawing is disabled so that the hand resting on the screen never draws by mistake. Buttons and menus still work with your finger. The app is for iPad only.

Where are my drawings stored?

Only on your device. Nothing is uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them too, so use the share option in the enlarged sketch view to export anything you want to keep.

When are ads shown?

There are two kinds of ad.

Ads never interrupt a session and are never shown on the results screen. If you buy "Remove ads", neither kind of ad is shown.

I can't start practicing while offline

If you use the app for free with ads, starting a session needs an internet connection, because a short ad is shown before practice. In airplane mode or without signal you will see “Go online to start”. If you have bought “Remove Ads”, or watched a long ad to the end that day, you can start sessions offline too. If you are online and an ad simply could not be loaded, the session starts without one.

Can I remove the ads?

Yes. Open Settings › Remove ads in the app to buy the one-time option. A single purchase removes both the long and the short ads, and lets you start sessions offline too. It is not a subscription. The price is shown in the Settings screen.

Without the purchase, a short ad is shown once at the start of each practice session (unless you have watched a long ad to the end that day). The practice features — duration, count, practice patterns, and history — and all angles are free and unrestricted without the purchase.

The "Remove ads" price shows "Preparing" and I can't buy it

That appears when the app could not get the product information from the App Store. Check your connection, then reopen the Settings screen or try again later. If it persists, please contact us at the address above.

How do I restore my purchase?

After a reinstall or on a new iPad, sign in with the same Apple Account you bought with, then tap Settings › Restore Purchases in the app. You will not be charged again. If it does not restore, check that the Apple Account signed in on the iPad is the one used for the purchase.

Can I share "Remove ads" with my family?

This purchase may be eligible for Apple's Family Sharing. Whether it is, and how it is shared, depends on Apple's system and your Apple Account settings. See Apple's support pages for how to set up Family Sharing.

Refunds

Payment and refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple, and the developer cannot issue a refund directly. To request one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Once a purchase is refunded, its benefit (no ads) ends and ads are shown again.

Can I use the special angles (high, low, and foreshortened views)?

Yes. The special angles (high, low, and foreshortened views) are for practicing depth and foreshortening, and some of the poses include them. Like the basic angles (front, three-quarter, side, back), they are free for everyone at any time. You do not need to watch an ad or buy anything.

I watched a long ad but still see the ad before practice

The short ad before practice stops only when a long ad is watched to the end; closing it early has no effect, and the short ad continues to be shown. The effect lasts for the rest of that day (until the date changes on your device) and ends when the date changes. It also applies only to the device on which you watched the long ad. Long ads may be unavailable depending on your connection or ad inventory — please try again later. If you see "Ads need your consent", open Settings › Change ad settings and review your choices.

How do I change my ad settings?

There are two separate settings.

See the Privacy Policy for details.

I was asked to allow tracking

That prompt only controls whether ads are personalized. Choosing "Ask App Not to Track" keeps the app working exactly the same. You can change it later in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

How do I switch the language?

The app supports Japanese and English. Tap Settings › Change language in the app to open the app's page in the iOS Settings app, then choose under Language. If no Language item appears, first add the language you want under iOS Settings › General › Language & Region, then try again.

Can I practice with my own photos?

Not in the current version. You practice with the pose references bundled with the app, and there is no feature for adding your own photos or images. If you would like one, please let us know at the address above.

I want to practice the same subjects every day

In this version, sessions draw from all the bundled poses. There is no feature for practicing only poses you pick. In the Gallery, tap a pose to look back at the sketches you have made of it. If you would like a way to narrow the poses down, please let us know at the contact below.

Who owns the pose references? Can I publish what I draw?

What you draw from the bundled poses is your own work. You may post it, sell it, or use it however you like, and no credit is required.

The bundled pose images are CG made by the developer using assets (body meshes, clothes, hair, and the like) published by the MakeHuman community under CC0. The app does not include photographs of real people. The source and license of the underlying assets are credited in the app under Gallery › Credits.

Copyright in the bundled pose images themselves belongs to the developer (the underlying assets are CC0; the bundled images are not). You are free to use them as references for practice inside the app, but you may not redistribute the images themselves, repost them as a reference pack or pose collection, or distribute them as a training dataset. See section 2 of the Terms of Use for details.
